10′ × 12′ Hardie-Lap Style ATV / Quad Storage K-Shed — Premium Finish

Ladysmith, BC

This 10′W × 12′L Hardie-Lap style ATV/Quad Storage K-Shed was built on-site by K-Sheds as a premium, residential-grade storage solution designed to protect power sports equipment while elevating the look of the property.

The exterior is finished with James Hardie ColorPlus® horizontal lap siding, providing long-term durability, low maintenance, and a clean, upscale appearance. To add visual separation and architectural detail, the shed features an extra combed-face trim belly band, giving the structure a strong, finished residential look.

At the gable, a cedar shake accent adds warmth and contrast, complemented by an exposed ridge beam that highlights the craftsmanship and gives the roofline a bold, structural presence. The soffits are finished with cedar-stained tongue-and-groove, bringing a rich, natural texture to the underside of the roof and tying the entire design together.

Built for strength, security, and long-term performance, this shed comfortably accommodates ATVs and quads while showcasing K-Sheds’ ability to deliver high-end materials, custom detailing, and purpose-built storage in a compact footprint.

Home-Lawyer Office kShed

8′ × 12′ Hardie-Lap Style Home Office K-Shed — First-Ever K-Sheds Office (2021)

Colwood, BC

This 8′W × 12′ Hardie-Lap style Home Office K-Shed holds a special place in the K-Sheds portfolio as the very first office-style structure we ever built, completed in 2021.

Designed specifically as a private home-law office, this shed was built to provide a professional, quiet, and welcoming space where the client could comfortably meet with legal clients on-site.

The exterior features James Hardie horizontal lap siding, giving the structure a clean, residential appearance that blends seamlessly with the main home while maintaining a polished, professional presence.

To support full office functionality, the shed was equipped with its own dedicated electrical breaker panel, allowing circuits to be managed independently from the house.

Power is supplied via a heavy-duty exterior-rated electrical cord, enabling the office to be safely plugged into the home’s electrical system without permanent trenching. This setup provided flexibility, code-conscious power distribution, and reliable operation for lighting, outlets, and office equipment.

This project laid the groundwork for what would become the K-Sheds studio and office line—proving that a compact backyard structure can function as a fully equipped, client-ready professional workspace, not just a storage shed.

To accommodate the site conditions, the shed features a custom angled foundation and sloped floor system, precisely built to match the existing driveway pitch.

This ensured proper function, easy access to bins, and a clean installation without altering the driveway or site drainage.

The exterior is finished with James Hardie panel-and-batten siding, selected specifically to match the home’s exterior style and materials. This allows the structure to visually blend into the property while still providing durable, low-maintenance protection for recycling and waste storage.
